This commission was done for a family who was selling their childhood home. Helen connected with Gibby and developed the idea of embedding a photograph of the family’s parents with botanicals taken from the home and yard. For the holiday each sibling was given a panel with the image of their parents with plants from the yard where they grew up.

What a wonderful Christmas your talent and beautiful Spirit brought to my family. Finally we were all together yesterday and I was able to give out the prints. At first everyone was too touched to speak. There was both laughter and tears as I described to them what it was all about. I told them how I had the fortune to “stumble” on your studio and meet you. It brings back memories of when we planted various plants, wonderful memories of walking in the woods. And just what happy times those were and what a great place it was to grow up.

Just gorgeous!! This is so neat. What a gentle feeling this brings and will continue to do so everytime I look at it. How neat to find the different plants and the memories that brings.

They couldn’t thank me enough and now I am saying the same to you....I can’t thank you enough for being a part of our journey and helping us move through this part of our journey, of selling our parents home. We have all been Blessed by your Gentle Spirit and wonderful Talent.
